April 2 is Pascua Florida Day. It is the anniversary of when Juan Ponce de Leon discovered Florida in 1513 when he was searching for gold and the fountain of youth. He named the land, Pascua Florida, which in Spanish means "a feast of flowers." It is usually used to refer to the Easter season.
